In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.

TEDxEuston is staying true to the spirit of the TED Conference — hosting fascinating thinkers and doers, and challenging them to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes or less. The event is comprised of a mix of live talks and performances as well as pre-recorded talks from recent TED conferences.

Our inspiration for TEDxEuston is simple, just like TED; why not empower people with ideas of the future in which they will live so that they can carry on the tradition by giving birth to new ideas about the future beyond theirs. This captures the essence of our event and we hope that you can see in it what we, and a strong following around the world see - that ideas drive the human race.

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 25 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives.
